Perihelion
04:42
|
|||
The summer strong, the permanence
That fools us as we permeate the winter.
And from its song of laid constants
That emanates as it creates what wills us.
A hymn to all unlearnt,
A song of you I earnt,
As I give
All it calls to me
In our perihelion
From the drown’d lake
The route the river takes
To its union.
The apsis of the sun
That left our hearts undone
In aphelion.
Where you wake, you will belong with me.
Each day takes another part of me.
I wait for you to realise
I’ve sworn my sins upon your eyes, you know now
And Autumn calls we learn again
To tell ourselves that this can last forever.
All the hope it brings,
Ever-after-ing,
As we give
All we are given
When in Apihelion.
From the drown’d lake
The route the river takes
To its union.
The apsis of the sun
That left our hearts undone
In aphelion.
Where you wake, you will belong with me
Each day takes another memory.

Augury
04:52
|
|||
I know what it gives, and gives you to augury
But I can't believe what I can't know
I know who you are you were written
With love running deep through your bones
You keep the memory
All that you are is
All that shows
And know it can't give you
All of the love
That you're owed.
You showed me what is, not what could be
Can be more than i've ever shown
But honey you gave enough for me
Providence is yours to own.
You keep the memory
All that you are is
All that shows
And know it can't give you
All of the love
That you're owed
Where we can write our audbade
Where the gods cannot hear
Of love within our orbit
And I can keep you near.
We rest in
The arms of
The arc of
The Southern Cross.
That guides us
Unto love
Indifferent
To those above.

The Song Of My Name
04:32
|
|||
Against the wildest moorings of the sun
What are you but the quietest harmony?
Symmetry is ageless litany.
You were born, you have lived, you have become.
Can I sing to you to help you understand?
I’m no Father to you, I’m just a man.
I couldn’t give you my name.
I’ll give you the song of my name.
What we’ve lost can’t measure who we are.
Winter grows from flowering peonies.
Litanies from ageless symmetry.
Who we are, what we were, afar.
Can I sing to you to you and hope you’ll understand?
I’m no lover to you, I’m just a man.
I couldn’t give you my name.
I’ll give you the song of my name.
